The NBA Finals have just ended signaling the beginning of a new season for NBA players and franchises: free agency.
Golden State just lost the NBA Finals in seven games, but are reportedly going to try and add a big free agent.
Dirk Nowitzki averaged 18.3 points and 6.5 rebounds in 31.5 minutes per game for the Dallas Mavericks this year. The seven-footer from Germany is well known for his patented fadeaway shot.
Nowitzki just turned 38 and has spent his entire career with the Dallas Mavericks, but would offer a nice upgrade at big men for the Warriors and help them stretch the floor as another consistent shooter.
Golden State has also expressed interest in Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant. In response to Durant, one Warriors executive said, "We will be very aggressive."
