The NBA free agency period has officially started and a plethora of deals have already been settled.

Dwight Howard agreed to a three-year, $70.5 million deal with the Atlanta Hawks, according the Vertical. Howard's deal averages $23.5 million in salary and is the highest amount for a center so far in free agency. The 6-11 center spent his last three seasons with the Houston Rockets.

Mike Conley agreed to a five-year, $153 million deal with the Memphis Grizzlies. This is the richest contract in NBA history, based on total contract value. Conley has spent his entire career with the Grizzlies.

Dwyane Wade is increasing the intensity on his free agency talks. His team has reached out to the New York Knicks and the Milwaukee Bucks. Many other teams have reached out to the shooting guard including the Dallas Mavericks and Chicago Bulls. Reportedly, Wade does not want to make less than the $20 million salary he earned last year. Wade has spent his entire career with the Miami Heat.

Kevin Durant met with the Los Angeles Clippers and was apparently "Blown Away" by the presentation. Durant joining the Clippers would be HUGE shake up to the NBA off season. The 6-9 forward also met with the Golden State Warriors and a source said the meeting went "very well" and the Warriors "were unable to get a read on which way he was leaning."
